At 8:13 this morning Center Moriches Firefighters and EMT’s were requested to the scene of an auto accident with injuries on Jerusalem Hollow Road between Moriches Middle Island Road and the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway.

Units arrived on scene and found a single vehicle into a tree. While EMT’s worked to stabilize the occupants firefighters use the “Jaws of Life” to pry open the passenger side door.

Both occupants were transported by Center Moriches FD Ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Firefighters were back in service within 30 minutes.
