On Monday May 29, 2017 Center Moriches Fire Department held its annual Memorial Day service to honor all the servicemen and women who gave their lives to ensure our freedom.

Due to the poor weather firefighters held their memorial services indoors at the firehouse.

After the services firefighters attended a wreath laying ceremony at the Center Moriches Fire Department memorial and the VFW memorial at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Center Moriches Firefighters then attended memorial services at the Mastic Fire Department.
