Each year firefighters from the Center Moriches Fire Department attend live fire training at the Suffolk County Fire Academy in Yaphank.

This month Firefighters from the Center Moriches Fire Department teamed up with Firefighters from the Eastport Fire Department to take part in the Class A drill.

Fire Academy instructors work with Firefighters who take part in several hands-on evolutions. These training's help to build teamwork as well as test the firefighter's skills during live fire conditions.
