At 6:07am on Tuesday, Center Moriches Fire Department responded to the report of an overturn auto on Wading River Road between Brookfield Ave and Sunrise Highway.

Emergency units arrived on scene to find a vehicle on its roof in the middle of the road. The driver was able to safely get out of the vehicle prior to the fire departments arrival.

Firefighters secured the overturn vehicle while EMT's and Paramedics treated the driver and transported him to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Wading River Road was closed between Sunrise Highway and Brookfield Avenue for over 2 hours while SCPD investigated the accident.
