At 2:17pm, Firefighters were requested to the Terrell River County Park on Montauk Highway after joggers called 911 reporting a brush fire on one of the paths.

Once on scene firefighters found 3 separate fires burning on 2 different paths. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fires and checked the area to make sure it was safe for the many joggers and people who walk the parks paths every day.

Firefighters were back in service within 30 minutes
