Just after 5am on Monday Center Moriches Firefighters and EMT’s were requested to an auto accident with injuries at the intersection of Wading River Road and Brookfield Avenue.

Emergency personnel arrived to find an SUV struck a utility pole, then some trees before coming to a stop in the parking lot Center Court. The driver exited the vehicle on her own prior to the fire departments arrival.

While firefighters secured the vehicle, EMT’s treated the driver and transported her to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Firefighters were back in service within 20 minutes.
