At 4:16pm Center Moriches Firefighters were requested to the scene of an auto accident with injuries on Frowein Rd between Chichester Ave and Saunders Ave.

Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle had driven off the road and crashed into a chain link fence. The driver of the vehicle escaped serious injury when the top rail of the chain link fence went through the windshield and exited through the rear window of the car.

As firefighters secured the vehicle EMTs and Paramedics treated the driver and transported him to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
