Just before 2pm Center Moriches Firefighters were requested to a single car accident with injuries at the intersection of Montauk Highway & Belleview Ave.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found a single vehicle had run off the road and was wedged between the fence and guard rail in front of the Kurt Weiss facility.

Using the Jaws of Life, firefighters cut the side of the vehicle away to gain access to the driver.

EMT’s and Paramedics treated the injured driver and transported him to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
