While Center Moriches Firefighters were assisting the Westhampton Beach Fire Department, a second call was received for a structure fire on Lake Avenue.

Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 8:53pm and arrived on scene to find a residents pool house on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire which completely destroyed the building.

There were no injuries reported and no other structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshalls office.
