Just after 8am Center Moriches Firefighters were requested to a auto accident with injuries on Jerusalem Hollow Road east of Moriches Middle Island Road.

Units arrived on scene and found a 2 car accident with one vehicle one it's side.

As EMT's and Paramedics stabilized the driver inside the overturned vehicle firefighters use the "Jaws of Life" to remove the roof.

It took firefighters 20 minutes to extricate the driver of the vehicle who was transported by Center Moriches Ambulance to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
