It is with deep regret the Center Moriches Fire Department announces the passing of Ex Chief, Past Commissioner and 68 year member Arthur Rumph.

Arthur Rumph joined the Center Moriches Fire Department in 1946 and was assigned to Company 3. In 1957 he was elected to Chief of the Department for which he held for 2 years.

During the years 1969 through 1988 Mr. Rumph served his community as a Fire Commissioner with the Center Moriches Fire District.

Wake services will be held at the Sinnickson's Funeral Home 203 Main Street Center Moriches on Friday October 17th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.

Firematic Services will be held on Friday October 17th at 7:30pm

Funeral services Saturday October 18th at 9am at Sinnickson’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery Montauk Highway in Center Moriches.

The Chiefs, Officers and Members of the Center Moriches Fire Department would like to extend our condolences to the Rumph family.
