Center Moriches Firefighters joined firefighters and other emergency service providers from across the Northeast for the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs Annual Conference & FIRE Expo held at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, New York.

Firefighters from Center Moriches took part in live fire training and were challenged by some of the country’s best fire instructors who reviewed techniques that are essential for survival in today’s fire environment. Firefighters also attended classroom training and other educational programs presented by nationally renowned lecturers.

Over 300 exhibitors were on hand displaying the latest apparatus, tools, equipment, and services available to the fire service.
