Just before 4pm Center Moriches FD was requested to an auto accident with injuries on the North Service Road of Sunrise Highway by North Cozine Road.

Emergency units arrived on scene and found a single vehicle off the road into the woods.

While firefighters secured the vehicle, EMT's treated the occupant who was transported to a local hospital by Center Moriches Fire Department Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
