At 2:42pm on Wednesday Center Moriches Firefighters were called to a report of a house fire on Old Neck Road South off Rowley Lane.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found the 2 story house fully involved in fire. While firefighters went to work extinguishing the fire, additional resources were requested from Mastic, East Moriches, Manorville, Brookhaven FD’s and Manorville EMS to assist CM Firefighters.

It took 60 firefighters just over an hour to bring the fire under control.

There were no injuries reported and the fire is under investigation by the Suffolk County Police Arson Squad.
