Just before 5pm on Sunday firefighters and EMTs from the CMFD were requested to the scene of an auto accident with injuries on Jerusalem Hollow Road between Moriches Middle Island Road and the Sunrise Hwy Service road.

While EMTs treated the injured firefighters worked to secure the vehicles.

One occupant was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Firefighters were back in service within 30 minutes.
