At 10:38 the Center Moriches Fire Department was alerted to an auto accident with injuries at the intersection of Moriches Middle Island Rd and Jerusalem Hollow Rd.

As EMS personnel treated the injured, firefighters worked to secure the damaged vehicles. Center Moriches Fire police also assisted Suffolk County Police with traffic control through the area.

2 people were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation by Center Moriches FD Ambulance.
