Just before 7am Center Moriches Firefighters and EMTs were requested to an auto accident with injuries on Frowein Road in the area of the Center Moriches HS.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles involved in the accident, the driver of one vehicle trapped.

While EMTs stabilized the occupant firefighters used the "Jaws of Life" to pry the car apart to free the driver. Once free the driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Firefighters were in service within 30 minutes
