2020 will go down as the busiest year to date and the most challenging for the Volunteer Firefighters and EMS providers of the Center Moriches Fire Department.

Last year, the Center Moriches Fire Department responded to 1,829 emergency calls an average of 5 calls per day.

In 2020, the department had to adapt and overcome obstacles encountered each day due to the Coronavirus pandemic this included modifying our response to alarms to limit our exposure.

As we look back on 2020, the Center Moriches Fire Department would like to thank the community for your unwavering support.
