At 8:59am Center Moriches FD was requested to an auto accident with injuries at the intersection of Montauk Hwy and Belleview Avenue.

Emergency personnel arrived to find a single car crashed into a guardrail and flipped onto its side. The driver was able to safely get out of the vehicle prior to the fire departments arrival.

While firefighters secured the overturned vehicle, EMT’s treated the injured driver and transported him to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries for further evaluation.
