At 2:51pm on Saturday, Center Moriches Firefighters were requested to assist the Manorville FD at the scene of a house fire on Dogwood Lane in Greenwood Village.

Manorville Fire Chief arrived to find heavy fire in one home extending to the neighboring house. The Chief requested additional assistance from Center Moriches, East Moriches and Eastport Fire Departments.

The fire was quickly brought under control. There were no injuries reported and CM firefighters were back in service within an hour.
