Just after 6pm, Suffolk County 911 received numerous calls reporting a garage fire on Belleview Avenue off Laura Lee Drive.

Firefighters arrived to find a detached garage fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters went to work extinguishing the flames. It took Firefighters 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshalls Office.
