2022 will go down as the busiest year to date for the Volunteer Firefighters and EMS providers of the Center Moriches Fire Department.

Last year, the Center Moriches Fire Department responded to 2,117 emergency calls, an average of almost 6 calls per day.

These calls included structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, water rescues, carbon monoxide alarms, as well as traumatic injuries and other life-threatening medical emergencies. In addition to responding to emergency calls, CMFD also provided EMS standby crews for countless events throughout the community.

As we reflect on 2022, the Center Moriches Fire Department would like to thank the community for your unwavering support.

We also say thank you to all the brave men and women of the Center Moriches Fire Department who put their lives on the line every single day to serve their community.
