| At 4:29pm the Center Moriches Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Wading River Road & Cozine Road.
When chiefs arrived on scene they found the 2 cars in the middle of the intersection with multiple people injured. As EMT's works to treat the injured firefighters secured both vehicles.
Besides the 2 Center Moriches FD Ambulances on scene, 2 more ambulances were requested 1 from East Moriches Community Ambulance and 1 from Manorville Ambulance to help transport the injured.
A total of 5 people were transported to local hospitals with non-life threating injuries. |
