| This morning, the Center Moriches Fire Department Water Rescue Team stood by as the dedicated safety team for Manorville FD’s annual ice rescue training.
Our rescue swimmers were suited up and ready to respond in the event of a real-world emergency, helping to ensure a safe training environment for everyone involved. Ice rescue operations are high-risk, and proper training, preparation, and teamwork make all the difference when seconds count.
Center Moriches Fire Department would also like to congratulate three of our own members who successfully completed the class and earned their place among the highly trained members of the CMFD Water Rescue Team. Their achievement reflects the dedication, skill, and commitment required to operate in some of the most challenging emergency environments.
