Center Moriches Fire Dept
2020 Holiday Parade of Lights
Saturday December 12th 2020 at 6pm
“Our Tradition Continues, But With A Twist”
The Center Moriches Fire Department Holiday Parade of Lights is a timeless family tradition and the unofficial start to the holiday season when firefighters escort Santa Claus into town !
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, the Center Moriches Fire Department will not be hosting a traditional Holiday Parade of Lights.
This year’s Parade of Lights will be a Holiday Parade of Lights “Convoy”
Rather than having thousands of spectators gather along Main Street to watch the parade we will bring the parade to you, keeping everyone safe in their homes.
The Holiday Parade of Lights will be a scaled-down parade from those in the past and will follow a pre-determined route throughout Center Moriches.
If your street is not on the parade route you can safely watch the parade from your vehicle by going to a street near your home.
You will be able to follow Santa progress live on any smartphone or computer during the parade with Santa's GPS Tracker as he is escorted by Center Moriches Firefighters around the community.
Experience the wonder, joy and magic of the Center Moriches Fire Department Holiday Parade of Lights while staying safe and healthy at your home.
The overall number of entries in the parade will be limited this year. Participants are encouraged to submit their application as early as possible. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
