At the end of this month, we bid a well-deserved farewell to Walter Kleiber our Supervising Paramedic as he retires from the Center Moriches Fire District.

For over 23 years, Walter has saved countless lives and been a steady, compassionate leader in our EMS family. His commitment to this department and our community has made a lasting impact.

On Tuesday, members of the Center Moriches FD and Stony Brook University Medic 65 held a BBQ in his honor sharing laughs, stories, and appreciation for everything he’s done.

Walter, thank you for your service, your leadership, and the difference you’ve made in so many lives. Wishing you all the best in retirement, you’ve truly earned it!
